About Us

I am on a mission to help 100,000 working professionals earn additional income, through stock market investing and trading, following Peaceful Investors methods, to achieve financial freedom and long term wealth creation.

I come from a family of entrepreneurs. However, I choose to be an employee and dreamed to be a banker. I wholeheartedly thank my professors at IIM-B and books I read, who at every step questioned my beliefs, which lead me to be open-minded and make strategic decisions. 

I feel, being an entrepreneur or an employee, both have their own pros and cons. What is common is that learning never stops. I have worked with multinational investment banks, traders (globally) and trained several people over the years.  So far, what I have learned is that finance or the knowledge of managing money cannot be ignored irrespective of who we are or the field we choose.

Owing to some of the most important life events I have several gaps in my career.  When my career was at its peak I could not ignore being a mother, taking care of elderly family members or many such real life challenges where decisions had to be made.  

It was only when I took my maternity break that the Trader in me woke up stronger than ever and took a lead. I learnt my way through and today I believe I am many times wiser. I still wear all these hats and look forward to learning and having fun in the journey ahead.  

While I am a hard core Investor from the beginning, trading taught me a lot more about ‘risk’ in my investments.  This is the reason why “Peaceful Investors” believes that everyone ultimately have to be long term Investors for building wealth.  Trading could fuel that ambition for wealth creation.

That, in a nutshell, is me, Rashmi Rao for you.
